Instructions:
1. Prepare the Apple Filling:
1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon, stirring to combine.
3. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the apples begin to soften.
4. Stir in the flour, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Cook for another 2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
