Tips for Success
Drain excess fat from the ground beef

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cans (15 ounces each) baked beans
¼ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese or cooked bacon crumbles
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until the meat is browned and onion is soft. Drain any excess grease.
Add baked beans, ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Pour mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
If using, sprinkle shredded cheese or bacon over the top.
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Additional Tips or Variations
Add green bell pepper or jalapeño for extra flavor
Top with crushed potato chips or French fried onions before baking
Serve with cornbread or over rice for a filling meal
