Baked Creamy Mushroom Beef

Ingredients
500g ground beef
250g mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon flour
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and garlic, and cook until soft and fragrant.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and become tender.
Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir well to combine.
Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
Top with shredded cheese.
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
