Ingredients
For the Bars:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the Cream Cheese Glaze:
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until combined.
Spread dough evenly in the prepared pan.
Bake for 22–25 minutes or until edges are golden and center is set.
Let cool completely in the pan.
For the glaze, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
Drizzle glaze over cooled bars, then cut into squares and serve.

Add chopped pecans or walnuts for texture
Mix in white chocolate chips or raisins
Top with extra cinnamon sugar before baking for a crunchy crust
