Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cut cinnamon rolls into quarters and spread evenly in the dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  4. Pour mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces, making sure everything is coated.
  5. Add nuts if using.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Drizzle the included icing over the warm casserole before serving.
