This dish is extremely adaptable as well. You can use a mix of ground beef and pork for extra tenderness, add finely diced vegetables like celery or bell peppers to the meat mixture, or make the glaze spicier with a little hot sauce. The mashed potatoes can be as rich as you like—more butter, a splash of cream, even roasted garlic for an extra boost of flavor. No matter how you customize it, a classic meatloaf dinner is one of those meals that always delivers comfort, flavor, and satisfaction.
