Creamy cajun garlic butter chicken wings

Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 1/2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (divided)

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon oil

For the Creamy Cajun Garlic Butter Sauce

3 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Optional: chopped parsley

Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) or heat oil for frying.

Season wings with salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning, paprika, and garlic powder. Toss with oil.

Bake 40–45 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway, or fry at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until golden and cooked through.

In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in heavy cream, remaining Cajun seasoning, and black pepper. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Add Parmesan and stir until smooth. Finish with lemon juice.

Toss hot wings in sauce or spoon sauce over them. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
