This American-style goulash is different from traditional Hungarian goulash, but it’s just as comforting in its own way. The combination of beef, tomatoes, pasta, and melted cheese creates a classic family-friendly dish that both kids and adults love. Serve it with crusty bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal everyone will ask for again.

- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1½ cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions

- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the uncooked macaroni. Cover again and cook until pasta is tender.

Tips
- For a thicker goulash, reduce the broth slightly.
- Add bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving for a fresh finish.
