Tips for Success
Use a well-marbled cut like chuck roast for best results. Sear the beef beforehand for deeper flavor, if time allows. Don’t skip the garlic—it’s key to the flavor. Avoid overcooking; 4–6 hours on low is ideal for bite-sized pieces. Stir once or twice during cooking if possible to coat evenly in sauce.
Ingredients
2 lbs sirloin or chuck steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 tbsp butter, melted
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions
Place steak bites into the crockpot. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Pour the mixture over the steak and stir to coat evenly. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or until beef is tender. Stir before serving and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Additional Tips or Variations
Add a splash of beef broth or red wine for a saucier result. Include sliced mushrooms or onions for extra flavor. Swap butter for herb-infused olive oil for a lighter version. Spice it up with crushed red pepper or Cajun seasoning. Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or cauliflower rice.
