Tips for Success
Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor
Toast pecans for added depth
Let the caramel cool slightly before adding chocolate
Ingredients
2 cups pecan halves, toasted
1 (11 oz) bag soft caramels, unwrapped
2 tablespoons heavy cream
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
Sea salt (optional)
Directions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange pecans in small clusters of 3–4 pieces each.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramels with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of caramel over each pecan cluster. Let sit for a few minutes to firm slightly.
Melt the chocolate chips in another microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
Spoon or drizzle chocolate over the caramel-pecan clusters.
Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.
Let clusters set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.

Use milk chocolate for a sweeter touch
Add a drop of vanilla to the caramel for extra flavor
Sprinkle chopped nuts or crushed pretzels on top for added crunch
