Easy salsa recipe

Serve it with tortilla chips or use it for tacos, burrito, quesadilla, enchiladas, etc. Everyone is going to love it!

Since this easy homemade restaurant-style salsa uses canned tomatoes, you don’t have to worry if tomatoes are not very tasty or ripe.

The recipe is easy to adjust to your own taste. Do you like chunky or smooth salsa? If you want it chunky, don’t puree it as much and drain the can of tomato before adding it to the food processor. If you like your salsa a bit more smooth and thin consistency, don’t drain the tomatoes. Also, you can make it spicy or mild according to your own preferences. Remove all the seeds and white membranes from the jalapeno for a mild salsa.

“Great with your favorite chips. Gets better as the flavors meld.”

Really good salsa; nice and fresh. EASY to make. I put everything in the food processor and it was done in a couple of minutes. I did use 2 jalepenos and that was a bit much. You may just want to use 1 of those!!

I made this at the spur of the moment and did not have jalapenos, green bell pepper or fresh lime juice. I added a squirt of lemon juice and some chopped garlic and it was really good even with all of my changes!

I used veggies fresh from my own garden & boy did this make a difference! Very, very good AND super easy. Little spicy for youngsters.

So I used 2 tomatoes, 1/4 of a red onion, a bunch of cilantro, 2 jalapeños, 2 garlic cloves, threw it in the blender, diced up 2 tomatoes and another 1/4 of the red onion, the juice of 1 lime, a dash of smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin and salt, mixed the chunks with the blended stuff! OMG!! to die for!!
