Honey-Glazed Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

• 4 slices bacon, chopped

• 2 tbsp olive oil

• 2 tbsp honey

• 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

• ½ tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

• ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional, for crunch)

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts & Bacon:

In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated. Spread them in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the chopped bacon over the sprouts.

3. Roast Until Crispy:

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the Brussels sprouts are golden brown and crispy, and the bacon is fully cooked.

4. Add Honey Glaze:

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and drizzle the honey and balsamic vinegar over the Brussels sprouts. Toss everything together to coat evenly.

5. Final Roast:

Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the glaze.
