2 pounds chicken wings

Salt and black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Oil for frying (or bake at 425°F)

For the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper Sauce

1/3 cup honey

1–2 tablespoons hot sauce

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

1 tablespoon butter

For the Dirty Rice

2 cups cooked white rice

1/2 pound ground beef or sausage

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced bell pepper

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Cheddar Bay Biscuit

1 cup biscuit mix

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/3 cup milk

1 tablespoon melted butter

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Season wings with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Fry at 350°F until golden and crispy (about 10–12 minutes), or bake at 425°F for 40–45 minutes flipping halfway.

In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in honey, hot sauce, lemon zest, lemon juice, and black pepper. Simmer 1–2 minutes. Toss hot wings in sauce until fully coated.

For dirty rice, brown ground meat in a skillet. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Cook until softened. Stir in cooked rice and Cajun seasoning. Mix well and heat through.

For the biscuit, mix biscuit mix, cheddar, and milk until just combined. Drop onto baking sheet and bake according to mix instructions (usually 10–12 minutes at 400°F). Brush with melted butter mixed with garlic powder.

Plate dirty rice first, add wings on the side, and serve with warm cheddar bay biscuit.
