Ingredients

1 lb Italian sausage (sweet or spicy), sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 large onion, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp olive oil

½ cup chicken broth or white wine

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp parsley

Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a skillet and brown the sausage slices on both sides; remove and set aside.

Add onions and peppers to the same skillet; cook until softened and lightly caramelized.

Stir in garlic, oregano, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Return sausage to the skillet and pour in broth or wine.

Simmer 5–7 minutes until flavors combine and sauce slightly thickens.
