Instructions
Spread tortilla chips in a single layer on a microwave-safe plate. Sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over the chips. Add meat or additional toppings if using. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top to ensure even melting. Microwave on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute, checking after 45 seconds. Continue heating in 15-second intervals until cheese is fully melted but not overcooked. Let sit for 30 seconds before serving. Top with sour cream, salsa, or guacamole and enjoy immediately.
