Obsessed with steak and shrimp noodles

Ingredients

Protein

  • 250 g steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced
  • 200 g shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • Salt & black pepper

Noodles

  • 250 g egg noodles or udon (or rice noodles)

Veg (optional but elite)

  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli or snap peas
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Sauce

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar or honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Chili flakes or sriracha (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles
    • Boil until just tender, drain, toss with a little oil.
  2. Sear steak
    • Heat wok or pan until hot.
    • Add oil, steak, salt & pepper.
    • Sear 1–2 minutes, remove and set aside.
  3. Cook shrimp
    • Same pan, add shrimp.
    • Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink.
    • Remove and set aside.
  4. Build flavor
    • Add garlic, ginger, and vegetables.
    • Stir-fry 2 minutes.
  5. Sauce + noodles
    • Add noodles and sauce.
    • Toss on high heat until glossy and coated.
  6. Finish
    • Add steak & shrimp back in.
    • Toss for 1 minute, taste, adjust spice.

  • Slice steak against the grain for tenderness
  • High heat = wok flavor
  • Finish with sesame seeds or chili oil for extra flex
