Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups roasted peanuts or chopped pecans
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, milk, and butter. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Continue boiling and stirring for about 5–7 minutes, until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and quickly stir in vanilla and nuts. Working fast, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Let the candy cool completely until set before serving or storing.
