Ingredients
1 sleeve Ritz crackers (about 30 crackers)
15 large marshmallows, cut in half
15 squares milk chocolate or 1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup melted chocolate or chocolate candy coating (optional for dipping)
Sprinkles or crushed graham crackers (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange half of the Ritz crackers on the baking sheet with the flat side facing up.
- Place a half marshmallow on each cracker, cut side down.
- Bake for 3–4 minutes, just until the marshmallows begin to puff and soften.
- Remove the tray from the oven and immediately press a piece of chocolate onto each marshmallow.
- Top with another Ritz cracker and gently press to create a sandwich cookie.
- Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes so the chocolate melts and holds everything together.
- If desired, dip half of each cookie in melted chocolate and add sprinkles or crushed graham crackers.
- Let the chocolate set before serving.
