SHRIMP PASTA ALFREDO

Ingredients

12 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, mixing until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
  8. Return the shrimp to the skillet and gently mix everything together.
  9. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
