Ingredients
12 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the shrimp and cook for about 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, mixing until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet and gently mix everything together.
- Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
