• ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted

• ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar

• 2 large eggs

• ½ cup (120ml) milk

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar (for topping)

• 1 tablespoon butter (for topping)

Instructions:

1. Preheat & Prepare

• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

• Grease and flour an 8- or 9-inch round cake pan or springform pan.

2. Prepare the Batter

• In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom.

• In a separate large bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth.

• Beat in the eggs, then add vanilla extract and milk, stirring until well combined.
