You’d never think mixing together just two ingredients; brown sugar and Italian dressing mix, would give you such incredible, tasty results!

But it really does. The first time I made this I was in awe over how delicious the chicken turned out. You can literally throw this together in minutes, and then just let it roast in the oven – the time depends on what kind of chicken pieces you are using. And that’s another great thing about this; it works for chicken legs, breasts, wings, whatever is your favorite!

Ingredients

1/2 cup Domino brown sugar, packed

1 ( .7 ounce) packet of dried Italian dressing mix

3 1/2 lb of chicken pieces (legs, drumsticks, thinly sliced breasts)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Line a 12 x 9″ baking pan with aluminum foil, then spray with cooking spray, set aside.

Rinse your chicken pieces and pat them dry thoroughly with paper towels.

Mix together the dried Italian dressing mix and the sugar.

Press the chicken pieces into the mixture, coat well, and place into the prepared pan.

Sprinkle any extra coating over the chicken.

Roast for about 50-60 minutes total, and every 15 min or so turn the chicken over and spoon the mixture over the baking chicken.
