Creamy Shrimp Fettuccine Pasta With Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta with my easy homemade Alfredo sauce! Combined with shrimp and served over pasta, this dinner idea is filling, made in just one pot, and ready in under 30 minutes.

This easy shrimp Alfredo pasta recipe is the perfect fast weeknight dinner that’s tasty enough for company! Tender shrimp and fettuccine pasta are smothered in an amazing creamy garlic sauce.

It took me a few tries before I was confident in sharing this shrimp fettuccine Alfredo recipe. They were all minor tweaks to get that sauce just right. I am definitely happy with the finished product, and I hope you will be too! In this recipe, cooking shrimp for Alfredo is easy… they just cook right in the sauce.

Alfredo sauce (butter, cream, and parmesan), shouldn’t be complicated to make, but I find that achieving the right sauce thickness is what really matters. You don’t want it too thick… or too thin.

Creamy Shrimp Fettuccine Pasta With Homemade Alfredo Sauce!!
3/4 lb Fettuccine pasta!
1lb shrimp!
1tbsp oil!
1small onion!
2 tbsp butter!
1 garlic clove!
1/3 cup white wine !
2 cups heavy whipping cream!
1/3 cup parmesan cheese!
Salt and pepper to taste!
Sprinkle of paprika, parsley or basil for garnish i used paprika, parsley and 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes i like a little spice in my life!

Cook pasta as directed on the box drain buy do not rinse.set aside.
In a small bowl add shrimp season with 1/4 tsp paprika, blackpepper and salt.
In a large skillet add the tbsp of oil then the shrimp cook for 1 miniutes per sides.
Remove the shrimp then add the 2 tbsp butter onion and garlic cook like 2 minutes then add the white wine cook about 3 miniutes then add the 2 cups heavy cream let it come to a boil then add parmesan cheese stir until dissolve then add the shrimp and pasta back to the sauce combine and cook another 3 miniutes add salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with parsley, basil or paprika. As i said before i used 1 tbsp red pepper flakes parsley and a little paprika for garnish.
