(Metaphorically speaking, of course, since we’re all practicing social distancing, right?)
The wipes themselves are actually paper towels. Please make sure to grab the quality, name brand paper towels. These will be sturdy enough to absorb the disinfectant mixture without disintegrating or turning into a mushy mess.
So, cut your paper towel roll down to the appropriate size for the container of your choosing. Then, slip the entire thing right inside.
Combine together 12 ounces of water, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol, and 3-5 drops of dish soap, depending on the size of your container. Pour the disinfectant mixture over the paper towel roll in waves to give the paper towels a chance to absorb the liquid.
Once the paper towels are saturated, go ahead and grab the cardboard roll from the center of the paper towels. Since it’s wet from the liquid, it will come out easily. Simply grab a towel from the middle! It works just like the store-bought wipes. What’s more, if you want your wipes scented, you can add a few drops of your favorite essential oils.
