EASY CINNAMON APPLE SWEET BREAD OR AS MY SISTER CALLED IT DUTCH APPLE LOAF IS THE PERFECT DESSERT LOAF OR SNACK. A DELICIOUS COMBINATION OF CINNAMON AND APPLES MAKES THIS AN EASY SWEET BREAD FOR FALL. Being of Dutch descent, I knew I had to try this recipe for a moist, fruity quick bread. It freezes well, so I often have a loaf on hand for church bazaars. Apple Bread made from scratch with butter, sugar & plenty of fresh apples. Topped with a cinnamon streusel & drizzled with warm vanilla glaze, it’s amazing. Forget the homemade pie crust and get all the flavors of fall in a quick & easy cinnamon apple pie bread recipe with brown sugar and cinnamon topping that’s as sweet as apple pie! Folks, this week I’m pleased to introduce you to my occasional sous-chef, also known as my Sweetie Pie husband. He is quite competent in the kitchen. So competent in fact that he recently signed himself up to be on the snack-volunteer rotation at church. And when his name comes up, he asks me “What should I make?” And then I get to pick out a recipe from my files that I’ve been wanting to try out, and he makes it! I tell you, it’s a wonderful arrangement. So when that happened last week, I went digging through my copy of More with Less to find a yummy snack recipe. When I asked the Sweetie Pie if he had any comments he’d like to share about his bread, this is what he said:
