Jello Sugar Cookies They taste every bit as good as they look!

Our kids just love these fun little cookies and they are packed with flavor. Our special ingredient to flavor up these cookies is simply using packages of jello… yes, Jello. Jello Sugar Cookies are delicious cookies that can be made with any flavor of jello! This sugar cookie recipe is easy to make in any color and the simple buttercream frosting can be flavored to match. These sugar cookies can be rolled and cut out into shapes or just quickly scooped out into balls.

All we are doing is basically jazzing up a regular sugar cookie recipe with jello. The result… pure fun and pure flavor. 🙂

5 cups all purpose flour
3 3/4 cups sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder

2 eggs

5 tablespoons milk
1 cup jello mix **

Blend in using a pastry blender or if using a stand mixer you can do this on the lowest speed. Takes about 4-5 minutes either way. Add in eggs, one at a time, mixing after each addition. Add in extract and milk, mix until well blended, making sure to scrape down sides of bowl.
Divide dough into however many flavors of jello you plan on using and place in large ziploc bags. Add Jello mix to each bag and knead into dough till color is smooth and mix is well blended in.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls then roll balls in sugar to coat. Place on baking sheet and bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 12-14 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet before removing to racks to cool completely.
