Flavorful Mountain Dew Apple Cobbler
This Mountain Dew apple cobbler is super quick and easy and is fabulous served warm over vanilla ice cream. All you Mountain Dew fans are going to really like it! Even if you’re not a fan of Mountain Dew you would never know that this is the secret ingredient in this recipe. It’s impossible to tell!

Now, I’ll admit that at first, I thought this recipe was kind of funny. But, my husband is a big Moutain Dew fan so I thought it would be a novelty to try. It was actually really good and I would definitely have it again!

Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings: crisp green apples are wrapped in soft dumplings and baked in a sweet cinnamon sauce made of brown sugar, butter and mountain dew! We spent Thanksgiving at my sister-in-law’s home again this year – a wonderful tradition for the last 20 years! Besides the wonderful dishes everyone brings, we get to visit with relatives we may not have seen for awhile. This year instead of turkey and a ham for the meat course, Bret’s sister asked him to make one of his great briskets along with his homemade BBQ sauce (I’ll post the brisket and BBQ sauce later…).
