Ingredients:

For the Crust:

• 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs

• ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

• ¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Cheesecake Layer:

• 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened

• ½ cup granulated sugar

• 2 large eggs

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Pecan Topping:

• 1 cup chopped pecans

• ½ cup brown sugar, packed

• ¼ cup heavy cream

• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Crust:

• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

• Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

• In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until well combined.

• Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the baking dish.

• Bake for 8-10 minutes, then let cool slightly.

2. Make the Cheesecake Layer:

• In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

• Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.

• Stir in vanilla extract.

• Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cooled crust and spread evenly.

• Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the center is set. Let cool.

3. Prepare the Pecan Topping:

• In a saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, heavy cream, melted butter, and vanilla.

• Stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture is smooth.

• Remove from heat and fold in the chopped pecans.

4. Assemble & Chill:

• Pour the pecan topping over the cheesecake layer and spread evenly.

• Refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) for best results.

• Slice into squares and serve chilled.
