INGREDIENTS
8oz refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 cup pecan pieces
½ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
4 oz cream cheese, chilled
6 tablespoons butter, melted
½ cup cream soda

PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and thoroughly grease a 8×8 baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix together the pecan pieces, brown sugar, cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons melted butter.
Chop cream cheese into 8 squares.
Open crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Place a cube of cream cheese and spoonful of the pecan mixture at the wide end of the dough triangle then roll up and seal.
Once dough is secure, place in the baking dish. Repeat with the rest of the dough.
Pour the remaining 6 tablespoons of melted butter over the rolls and sprinkle the remaining brown sugar pecan mixture over the top.
Pour the cream soda around the rolls.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the dough is just browning on top. Serve warm.
