Pie Peach Cobbler

I was searching for a peach cobbler recipe that reminded me of the yummy dessert I ate as a young girl in Southeast Missouri. No shortcuts here. Fresh peaches and homemade crust…but worth every minute! Absolutely delicious served warm with vanilla ice cream! Never any leftovers with this dessert! This old fashioned Peach Cobbler recipe is not only extremely easy to make from scratch, but it’s made with fresh or canned peaches so you can enjoy it all year round! It’s one of my favorite family recipes from my mom, and although I am bias, I think it’s the best of the best! This is absolutely great. I’ve always been a double crust cobbler girl, but it’s hard to find that. I’ve never made a cobbler before although I consider myself an excellent cook and baker. I was skeptical about the orange juice and fully intended to follow the crust recipe and combine it with another peach filling recipe. I’m so glad I didn’t. This was absolutely great!
