Teriyaki Chicken Wings

Glazed Teriyaki Chicken Wings. These sticky glazed wings are packed with flavour but are completely oven baked and never fried. Perfect game day party food or served with rice for dinner. These crispy teriyaki chicken wings are baked to perfection and coated in a simple homemade teriyaki sauce. Perfect as a flavorful snack or tasty party food!

Easy teriyaki chicken wings are marinated overnight and then baked in the oven for a tasty appetizer or main dish. Ever since I was little, we had the traditional Chicken Wings, but Teriyaki Wings to my love for hot wings to a whole new level! . They are seriously phenomenal and so addicting!! Since then my family will buy the Teriyaki Sauce and make our own wings at home. Fortunately, my mom discovered a recipe for the homemade Teriyaki Sauce so I can make these wings myself being in Texas. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this!!

This recipe calls for large chicken wings. If you are using small chicken wings, reduce the initial baking time by about 15 minutes.

The teriyaki sauce can also be used as a finishing glaze for baked chicken or shrimp.

Teriyaki Chicken Wings

Ingredients

2 – 4 pound package of chicken wings
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup soy sauce

Directions

Place a single layer of wings in a 9 x 13 pan.
In a small pot put the dark brown and the white sugars and the soy sauce and mix together. Heat on the stove until sugar dissolves. (It does not need to come to a boil.) Then pour this mixture over the wings. Bake at 325 uncovered for 1 1/2 hours
